About A Strand of Hope Counseling LLC
Therapy That Helps Couples Heal, Communicate, and Rebuild Trust
Reconnect. Heal. Grow Together.
At A Strand of Hope Counseling, we know relationships don’t fall apart overnight—and healing them takes more than quick fixes or surface-level advice. When couples walk through our doors, they’re often carrying the weight of unspoken hurts, repeating conflicts, or the aftermath of betrayal, loss, or trauma. You may still love each other deeply but feel like you are miles apart.
You don’t have to figure it out alone. Therapy here is not about blame—it's about rebuilding together.
We offer a compassionate, evidence-based approach tailored to your unique journey. Whether you’re reeling from infidelity, navigating the pain of infertility or grief, or just feel more like roommates than partners, we create a space where both of you can feel heard, understood, and supported.
Our work is grounded in experiential methods and the Gottman Method of Couples Therapy, helping couples move beyond just surviving to thriving. Together, we’ll work toward deep emotional connection, honest communication, and renewed trust. For couples in crisis or those simply wanting to reconnect, we’re here to guide you back to each other.
If you’re ready to stop just going through the motions and start healing, you’re in the right place.
Intensive Couples Therapy for Deep Healing

Level Two – Two Days: Overcome the Four Horsemen
Identify and shift destructive cycles to create healthier communication. -
Level Three – Two Days: Thrive Beyond Survival
Rebuild trust, strengthen intimacy, and envision your future together.
If you’re ready for change and craving reconnection, this experience is for you.
Supporting Families Through Life’s Big Transitions
Families face unique challenges when a child is returning home from a Residential Treatment Center (RTC), stepping down from a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), or adjusting to new routines after intensive care. These moments can feel disorienting, overwhelming, and lonely for parents and siblings alike.
At A Strand of Hope Counseling, we offer specialized family therapy to help you move through these transitions with greater clarity and connection. We know this is uncharted territory—and we’re here to walk beside you with empathy and guidance.
This is a safe place for families to explore their fears, hopes, and struggles without judgment. We help you rebuild connection, find your footing, and support your child’s healing in a way that honors the journey you’ve all been on.
Your family doesn’t need to go through this alone. There is hope—and we’re here to help you hold onto it.
About Me – Jessica Elliott, LMFT-Associate
Supervised by Dana Lewin, LMFT-S
Hi, I’m Jessica, and I know how hard it can be to reach out for help—especially when you're feeling disconnected, overwhelmed, or unsure where to turn next.
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate, I specialize in walking with couples and families through some of life’s most painful and complex moments—infidelity, addiction, infertility, trauma, grief, and those subtle but heartbreaking moments when love is still present, but connection feels lost.
Using a blend of experiential techniques, the Gottman Method, and trauma-informed care, I help couples and families identify the patterns keeping them stuck—and gently support them as they move toward deeper connection, trust, and emotional healing.
My approach is collaborative and deeply human. I don't believe in quick fixes or surface-level advice. Instead, I offer presence, practical tools, and a belief in your capacity to heal and grow—both individually and together.
I create a space where vulnerability is welcome—where you can be honest about the hard stuff without fear of judgment. How do I know that feeling safe in therapy matters? Because I once walked out of my first therapy session after just 15 minutes—simply because I didn’t feel safe. That experience stayed with me. It’s why I’m deeply committed to building a space where you feel seen and heard.
You Get to Be Your Full, Authentic Self Here
So many people come to therapy feeling like they’ve been wearing a mask for years—trying to be strong, to keep it together, to meet expectations that were never really theirs to begin with. Whether you’re questioning your identity, trying to rediscover who you are after trauma, or simply exhausted from pretending, therapy can be the place where you finally breathe and come home to yourself.
I believe that part of healing is giving yourself permission to show up honestly—and to be met with compassion, not shame. Together, we’ll explore who you are underneath the roles, the survival patterns, and the pain. This isn’t about “fixing” you. It’s about helping you feel more grounded in who you already are.
Whether you’ve lost sight of yourself in a relationship, parenthood, trauma, or life’s constant demands—this is your space to reconnect with you.
My Areas of Focus Include:

I hold a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from Texas Woman's University and practice under the supervision of Dana Lewin, LMFT-S.
But more than my credentials, what shapes my work most is my belief in the healing power of safe, compassionate connection. You don’t have to have it all figured out. You just have to be willing to start.
If you’re feeling stuck, lost, or just ready for something to shift—I’d be honored to walk this path with you.
