Frequently Asked Questions

Who do you work with?

I provide therapy for individuals with PCOS as well as couples where at least one partner has PCOS. My practice is inclusive and affirming of LGBTQIA+ identities, neurodivergence, kink, and polyamorous relationships. I work with clients who want to explore symptoms, rebuild trust in their bodies, navigate the emotional impact of PCOS, and strengthen their relationships.

Do I need to live near you to work with you?

No. I work with clients anywhere in Texas including Fort Worth, DFW, Crowley, Tarrant County, and Johnson County.

Do you only provide telehealth sessions?

Yes. All sessions are offered via telehealth, allowing you to access therapy from the comfort of your home. Telehealth provides flexibility for busy schedules, removes travel stress, and makes it easier for both partners in a couple to attend sessions together.

Do you have personal experience with PCOS?

Yes. I have PCOS myself, and I understand firsthand the day-to-day struggles, uncertainty, and emotional challenges it brings. Living with PCOS is an ongoing journey, there is no cure, and I know how isolating it can feel when your experience doesn't match what you see online or what others tell you. My lived experience informs my empathy, approach, and commitment to helping you feel heard, supported, and empowered.

Do you take insurance?

I take a limited amount of insurance:

  • United HealthCare (UHC)

  • Oscar

  • Optum

  • Starting January 19th, 2026 - Aetna

  • OON - If your insurance is not listed and you wish to submit a superbill for potential reimbursement let me know before or during our intake session so I can assess for diagnoses.

  • I am also private pay, which protects your privacy and allows us to work without external limitations.

Do you work with couples?

Yes. I help couples where at least one partner has PCOS. Partners can feel confused, frustrated, or blame themselves when navigating this syndrome. In therapy, we focus on understanding the symptoms together, improving communication, and strengthening connection. I also bring insight from my own neurodivergent partnership, which helps me understand the layered impact neurodivergence can have on communication and emotional connection.

What is your approach to therapy?

I take a collaborative, individualized approach. I don't pretend to have all the answers. Instead, I listen carefully to your story, explore what matters most to you, and help you navigate challenges in a way that fits your unique needs. My work focuses on:

  • Emotional support for PCOS-related challenges

  • Reducing shame and isolation

  • Rebuilding trust and connection with your body

  • Strengthening communication and intimacy in relationships

  • Empowering you to feel confident in your decisions and relationships

Do you work with LGBTQIA+ clients, neurodivergent clients, or those exlploring kink or polyamory?

Absolutely. My practice is affirming and inclusive. I create a safe, nonjudgmental space for clients of all identities and relationship structures. Your experiences, desires, and boundaries are respected and honored in therapy.

Is therapy only for people who want to have children?

No. While PCOS can impact fertility, therapy is for anyone navigating PCOS, whether it's related to body image, identity, mental health, relationships, or personal goals. I focus on your overall emotional well-being and help you navigate what matters most to you.

How long does therapy last?

The length of therapy depends on your goals and needs. Some clients find support in a few sessions, while others benefit from longer-term work. We'll discuss a plan together and adjust it as your needs evolve.

How do I get started?

You have two options:

  • If you are looking for a free 15-minute consultation, then click here to go to our "Contact Me" page. There you'll select a time for our consultation.
    or

  • If you are ready to schedule your first appointment you can click here to go to the "Client Portal" and you can speed up the process and book your own first appointment.

In the first appointment we will explore your goals, discuss your experience with PCOS, and create a plan that works for you.

What if I don't have PCOS, or if me and my partner(s) don't have PCOS? Can I (we) still see you?

Absolutely.

While I specialize in supporting individuals and couples impacted by PCOS or chronic illness, you do not need to have PCOS to work with me.

I also support people who are navigating many of the same emotional and relational challenges that often come with chronic health conditions.

Other areas I focus on include:

  • Couples to improve communication and rebuild trust

  • Stress, burnout, or emotional exhaustion

  • Trauma, ongoing stress, or difficult family systems

  • The impact of gaslighting or emotional abuse

  • Identity confusion, self-doubt, or feeling lost

  • People-pleasing, perfectionism, and patterns of caretaking

  • Addiction or coping habits used to manage emotional pain
