Do Any of These Sound Familiar?

You love each other, but something just feels off. Maybe you’re having the same arguments on repeat, feeling more like strangers or roommates than partners, or wondering when the connection started to fade. At A Strand of Hope Counseling, we understand how heavy that can feel. These questions reflect the kinds of struggles many couples face when they’re stuck, disconnected, or simply longing for more. Take a moment to read through them, and notice which ones resonate with you. They might just be the first step toward real change, together.

  1. "If you would just listen to me instead of trying to fix everything, maybe I’d feel heard."

  2. "Why does it feel like we’re just roommates now instead of partners?"

  3. "How can I trust you again when you still won’t talk about what happened?"

  4. "Do you even see how much I’m trying, or am I just invisible to you?"

  5. "Why do we keep having the same fight over and over again?"

  6. "When did we stop being a team?"

  7. "Why do I feel so alone even when we're sitting in the same room?"

  8. "Is this really the life we wanted, or just the one we settled into?"

  9. "Why does everything feel like a competition instead of cooperation?"

  10. "Can we actually move forward from this, or are we just pretending everything’s fine?"

Meet Your Therapist

Jessica Elliott, LMFT-Associate

Supervised by Dana Lewin, LMFT-S

Hi, I am Jessica Elliott, MS, LMFT-Associate, supervised by Dana Lewin, LMFT-S. I support couples who feel disconnected, unheard, or stuck in the same unhelpful cycles. With Level 2 Gottman Method Couples Therapy training (couples/addiction recovery and infidelity/trauma as well), along with PREPARE/ENRICH certification, I bring both heart and tools to our work together.

My approach is deeply experiential and collaborative, we work together in ways that feel meaningful and grounded in evidence. I create a safe, inclusive space for all couples, whether you're navigating grief, infertility, addiction, infidelity, parenting stress, or simply yearning to reconnect.

Together, we build honest communication, rebuild trust, and explore real, lasting connection, on your terms.

Flexible, Confidential Care, Private Pay & Telehealth

At A Strand of Hope Counseling, I'm proud to offer private pay-only services, delivered exclusively via telehealth, all so your therapy fits your life, on your terms.

Why Private Pay?

I've chosen private pay so that your therapy remains flexible, focused, and confidential, without insurance companies directing your care. This means:

  • Your treatment stays personalized, not limited by rigid insurance rules or session caps.

  • You avoid sharing personal mental health details, like diagnoses, with insurers.

  • You receive my undivided attention and support, crafter entirely around what you and your relationship need.

Why Telehealth Only?

Providing telehealth-only sessions allows for maximum flexibility and access, from wherever you both are (in Texas). It means:

  • No driving, no childcare scheduling, no waiting rooms, just real-time healing from your space.

  • Expanded access across all of Texas.

  • Comfort and consistency, making it easier to show up.

Cost of Services

  • Standard couples' sessions:

  • $180 for a 50-minute session.

  • $230 for a 75-minute session.

  • $280 for a 100-minute session.

Concerned About Cost?

Worried that therapy might be out of reach financially? You’re not alone, and you don’t have to let cost be the reason you don’t get support.

I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots for those who need financial flexibility. If you're concerned about affordability, please don’t hesitate to ask.

I understand how hard it can be to prioritize your relationship when money feels tight, I’ve been there too. Let’s have a free, no-pressure conversation to explore options and see what might work for you.
